Fortitude Mining Holdings names Jaime Leverton CEO ahead of NASDAQ merger

Fortitude Mining Holdings, the Zcash mining subsidiary wholly owned by Digital Currency Group, has appointed Jaime Leverton as chief executive officer. The company has signed a definitive all-stock merger agreement with Nasdaq-listed HeartSciences Inc., with the combined entity set to trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker TUDE. Fortitude operates seven mining sites across the United States with a combined power capacity exceeding 60 MW and was producing approximately 157,000 ZEC annualized as of May 31, 2026. The company placed a 31.5 million dollar purchase order for 9,000 Bitmain Antminer Z15 Pro miners to boost its hash rate by roughly 7.56 GSol/s. Financially, Fortitude reported Q2 2026 revenue of 20.9 million dollars and adjusted EBITDA of 8.5 million dollars, with full-year 2025 revenue coming in at approximately 89 to 90 million dollars. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and shareholder votes.
