Digital asset infrastructure platform Fireblocks has appointed Elad Roisman, former SEC Commissioner and Acting Chairman, as Chief Regulatory and Policy Officer and General Counsel for Regulatory. Roisman served at the SEC from 2018 to 2022, voting on over 100 rulemakings and participating in more than 1,000 enforcement actions. The company, which has processed over $14 trillion in digital asset transactions across more than 150 blockchains, counts Worldpay, BNY, Galaxy, and Revolut among its clients. Fireblocks aims to leverage Roisman’s expertise in US stablecoin legislation and the EU’s MiCA framework to guide institutional clients in scaling stablecoin operations and tokenizing real-world assets amid evolving regulations.
