Fin.com, a New York-based payments startup, has raised $20 million in a seed round to build infrastructure enabling stablecoin-to-local-currency conversions. The round was led by Expa with participation from Coinbase Ventures and Uber co-founder Garrett Camp. The platform offers a white-label solution allowing businesses to collect, convert, and distribute funds in over 40 currencies across more than 30 countries, targeting regions with the heaviest remittance flows: South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Fin.com integrates with mobile payment networks such as M-Pesa and GCash, as well as banking systems like India’s UPI and Europe’s SEPA. The startup claims its client base collectively reaches over 800 million users, in a context where total stablecoin market capitalization stands at approximately $305 billion.
