Fetch.ai is deploying autonomous AI agents across several universities in the United States and the United Kingdom to help new students navigate campus life. The company developed specific tools for welcome week at San José State University and a scavenger hunt bot for California State University, Long Beach. It is also running educational outreach including hackathons and workshops at institutions such as UCLA, UC Berkeley, Stanford, Imperial College London, and the University of Cambridge. Fetch.ai awarded 100,000 dollars to UCLA to enhance AI research capabilities and plans to expand these deployments between 2025 and 2026. The agents run on Fetch.ai’s open-source infrastructure, but these campus deployments contain no blockchain components.
