FedEx beat Wall Street expectations in the third quarter, reporting adjusted earnings per share of $3.74 versus $3.36 expected and revenue of $22.86 billion versus $22.42 billion expected. Net income came in at $290 million, or $1.21 per share, compared with $650 million, or $2.73 per share, a year earlier. The group raised its full-year adjusted earnings per share outlook to $18-$18.60 and its 2026 revenue growth forecast to roughly 12%, up from 11%. This inaugural report followed the realignment of the fiscal year, which now ends on Dec. 31 instead of May 31, and the public spinoff of FedEx Freight. Shares nevertheless fell slightly after hours, while Jamere Jackson was named chief financial officer effective Nov. 30.
