ETHSecurity Initiatives has launched the second round of its Ethereum security fund, allocating 600,000 dollars for a formally verified Vyper compiler and 300,000 dollars for a decentralized detection system developed by Auditware. Round One had distributed over 1.6 million dollars to 135 projects, funded by 13,805 individual donations from 3,934 donors. This second round relies on the expertise of 200 certified security professionals, with AI-driven processes guiding funding decisions. The fund was established using approximately 69,420 unclaimed ETH from the 2016 DAO hack and now generates an estimated 8 million dollars in annual yield.
