Ethereum developers have scheduled the Glamsterdam upgrade to activate on the Hoodi test network on October 26 at 17:42:48 UTC. This upgrade introduces two major changes: enshrined proposer-builder separation (ePBS) and block-level access lists designed to facilitate parallel processing. The test network’s gas limit will increase to 200 million at activation, which will occur at epoch 132,352 and slot 4,235,264. No mainnet activation date has been announced yet. This Hoodi test follows the successful October 6 activation on Sepolia and aims to verify software compatibility before scheduling deployment on the main chain.
