Ethereum developers, organized within the Cluster Protocol, have published a Tier List classifying 62 EIPs for the Hegotá upgrade scheduled for 2027. EIP-7805 (FOCIL) for the consensus layer and EIP-8141 (Frame Transactions) for the execution layer are the only ones to receive the top « S » rating. EIP-8141, dedicated to native account abstraction, will notably pave the way for post-quantum signature schemes. A total of 16 EIPs are rated « A » (planned integration) and 28 have been rejected. Ethereum aims to become quantum-resistant across its three layers by December 2029, aligning with the post-quantum migration timelines independently set by Google, Cloudflare and Microsoft.
