An address created in 2015 during Ethereum’s initial coin offering has transferred 5,000 ETH that had remained untouched for nearly a decade. The tokens, bought at about $0.30 each, are now worth approximately $11.5 million, representing a 770,000% increase. According to EmberCN and Lookonchain, 1,500 ETH worth around $3.45 million were sent to a centralized crypto platform, potentially preceding a sale. The address still holds 45,000 ETH, valued at approximately $105 million. The holder had already sold 50,000 ETH in 2016 for about $274,000, when Ether traded near $5.50.
