Energy Vault has begun construction on an AI infrastructure campus in Snyder, Texas, in partnership with Crusoe. The NYSE-listed company will deploy Crusoe’s Spark modular data centers with an initial capacity of up to 25 MW. Energy Vault serves as the power provider and infrastructure owner on a site already equipped with its Cross Trails battery energy storage system connected to the ERCOT grid. This partnership aims to generate significantly higher revenue and EBITDA per megawatt compared to traditional battery storage operations. The 25 MW campus represents a proof of concept whose success will be monitored for potential expansions.
