DeFi Development Corp Adds $3 Million in Solana as SOL Buys Slow

DeFi Development Corp added roughly 26,203 SOL, worth about $3 million, to its treasury between Sept. 28 and Oct. 2, bringing holdings to 2,564,212 SOL and equivalents valued at $302 million. The pace of purchases is cooling: 26,203 SOL this week versus 47,706 the prior week and 101,381 SOL the week ending Sept. 18. The Nasdaq-listed company, ticker DFDV, raised about $11 million by issuing CHAD preferred stock at $8 per share, paying a 13% annual dividend. Its treasury grew 11% since Aug. 12. Formerly known as Janover until its 2025 pivot, the firm held nearly 600,000 SOL in May 2025, more than four times less than today.
