Deel announced on Aug. 17 the expansion of its DLUSD stablecoin wallet to more than 80 countries, 11 weeks after its initial launch in Argentina. This payroll platform processes $22 billion per year and allows contractors in countries where opening dollar accounts is difficult to receive their pay in US dollars. DLUSD, described as a « digital dollar voucher » issued through Stripe’s Bridge platform, offers a promotional target yield of up to 4% per year via Morpho vaults on Tempo. The United States, United Kingdom, EU nations and Australia remain excluded from this expansion. Deel, valued at $17.3 billion, serves over 35,000 customers and 1.5 million workers across more than 150 countries.
