The UK government has launched a campaign called “Be Ready” asking households to keep enough supplies to last 72 hours during a major crisis. It recommends stocking water, non-perishable food, cash, a flashlight and a battery-powered radio, with three liters of water per person per day. The initiative updates guidance issued since 2024 and is not directly linked to the critical PHP vulnerabilities recently discovered. In France, the Secrétariat général de la défense et de la sécurité nationale published similar guidance on November 20, 2025, while no evidence of an imminent general internet shutdown has been reported.
