Cryptocurrencies: A Contribution Estimated at $55 Billion to the US Economy

The National Cryptocurrency Association published a report stating that the cryptocurrency sector will contribute over $55 billion to the US economy by 2026. This sector directly supports 34,000 jobs and generates 232,000 indirect jobs in related industries. The average salary in the crypto ecosystem reaches approximately $133,000 per year, more than double the national median wage. The states of California and North Carolina alone account for over 67,000 jobs linked to the sector. The study also highlights impact beyond financial services, with $3.6 billion in professional services and $3 billion in housing.
