Kraken restricted several accounts while investigating an alleged theft of more than $133 million targeting an European Union entity. The platform says its systems were not compromised and that it is cooperating with authorities to recover the funds, while Crypto.com blocked the associated transfers and OKX is reviewing the case. According to ZachXBT, approximately $108.8 million in stablecoins were withdrawn between November 1 and 2, including $62.98 million converted into 27,553 ETH in roughly four hours. Tether froze about $1.14 million in USDT, while $71.33 million remained in addresses attributed to the alleged attacker as of November 3. The identity of the victim, the method of compromise and any intent to conceal the incident remain unknown, and the amount recovered has not yet been specified.
