A British crypto trader was robbed at knifepoint in his own home in early October 2026, losing the equivalent of $800,000. The attackers stole $40,000 from his main wallets, $720,000 from a Ledger hardware wallet, and a Rolex watch. The trader, known on X under the pseudonym « realist », shared his ordeal in real time and warned the UK crypto community. According to Gart.io, 27 such attacks have been recorded in the United Kingdom since the start of 2026, a significant increase compared to previous years.
