Three crypto projects were hacked on September 24, suffering combined losses exceeding $11 million. Payy Network lost approximately $1.8 million through its compromised Ethereum bridge, with funds routed through the Railgun privacy protocol before being swapped for Ethereum. Duelbits, a cryptocurrency gambling and betting platform, was drained of roughly $7 million, most likely due to a compromised private key, just months after a previous $4.6 million attack. The Meter network saw an attacker exploit a flaw in block verification to mint $2.3 million in unbacked tokens, which were sold through PancakeSwap, causing MTR to drop nearly 80% and MTRG by about 75%. Two of the three affected projects had previously suffered major hacks.
