CrowdStrike has launched a kill switch that allows security administrators to block unauthorized AI agents through a gateway, with direct termination of endpoint processes planned for later. The company has also signed an agreement to acquire Fiddler AI, a specialist in monitoring AI agent behavior and explaining automated decisions, in a deal valued at roughly $400 million. Its Falcon Guardian platform can inspect agent prompts and enforce policies across several coding and productivity tools. CrowdStrike expects to complete the Fiddler AI acquisition during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2027, which ends on January 31, 2027, subject to customary closing conditions.
