Nasdaq-listed mining company Core Scientific rebuilt its Bitcoin treasury in the second quarter, bringing its total to 848 BTC, worth over $54 million. The company ended the first quarter with 547 BTC after selling down most of its 2,537 BTC from late 2025 to fund its transition into AI and high-performance computing. It added 301 BTC this quarter alone from mining. Its Q2 revenue rose to $164.2 million from $78.6 million in Q2 2025, while gross profit climbed to $70 million from $5 million year-over-year. Core Scientific also signed a deal with chipmaker AMD for 2.5 gigawatts of data center capacity.
