Como and AC Milan are in negotiations for Italian midfielder Samuele Ricci. AC Milan paid approximately €25 million to sign the player from Torino in July 2025 and is demanding at least €20 million for a permanent transfer. The 24-year-old, contracted until June 2029, has failed to establish himself in Milan’s midfield where Luka Modric, Adrien Rabiot, Amir Jashari and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are preferred options. Como, managed by Cesc Fabregas, could offer him more playing time and meet UEFA squad-list regulations regarding Italian-trained players. Negotiations remain ongoing with no transfer fee or formal terms agreed as of mid-August 2026.
