ADM Investor Services, BGC Group and Nanhua USA are preparing to offer cash-settled futures based on hourly Nvidia GPU rental prices, primarily the H100 and B200 models, pending CFTC approval. Each contract would represent 730 GPU-hours over a month, equivalent to one GPU running continuously for a typical month. The CFTC’s public comment period runs through October 20, 2026, with CME Group’s review extended to November 9, 2026. Boston Consulting Group projects the AI compute market could grow from 360 billion dollars in 2025 to approximately 2.3 trillion dollars by 2030. Proprietary trading firms including Jump Trading and DRW are already securing capital and staffing dedicated desks in anticipation of regulatory approval.
