Hardware wallet maker Coldcard announced that a phishing link appeared on its official X account on Sunday. The company, which has used offline two-factor authentication since 2017, is investigating how the post was published and has advised users not to click the link. It specified that its only official website is coldcard.com. This intrusion follows a July hack that stole at least 100 million dollars in Bitcoin from 7,300 wallets, with total losses potentially reaching 130 million dollars according to some estimates.
