CoinDesk piece proposes new framework for tracking tokenized assets

Share

A CoinDesk article proposes assessing tokenized assets according to the outcomes achieved by their holders rather than the headline totals announced by issuers. According to data compiled by CoinDesk, real-world assets tokenized on Stellar reached approximately $3.5 billion to $4 billion by late October 2026, spread across 67 to 83 products from 10 regulated issuers. Stellar ranked fourth among blockchains behind Ethereum, BNB Chain and Solana, which respectively recorded $15.9 billion, $6.3 billion and $4.9 billion in tokenized real-world assets. The network is preparing to integrate Securitize as its 17th blockchain and plans to make DTCC-tokenized assets available in the first half of 2027. Investors will need to monitor the adoption of these products and any future reporting of holder-level performance.
