Coinbase placed the GRASS-USD trading pair in limit-only mode on Coinbase Exchange and Coinbase Advanced on August 26, blocking market orders while only allowing limit orders. Grass is the native token of a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) built on the Solana blockchain that enables users to monetize their unused internet bandwidth. The launch process included a 10-minute initial auction phase followed by the current limit-only mode, an approach Coinbase has used for other recent listings such as GROVE-USD and DRB-USD. GRASS appeared on Coinbase’s roadmap on August 21 and met the platform’s liquidity conditions on August 26.
