CleanSpark, BitFuFu, Canaan report July Bitcoin production declines as prices climbed

Share

The three major publicly traded Bitcoin miners CleanSpark, BitFuFu, and Canaan all reported lower production in July even as Bitcoin climbed from $58,500 to nearly $63,000. CleanSpark produced 586 BTC versus 614 in June, while BitFuFu output fell to 112 BTC from 125 the prior month. Strategies diverged: CleanSpark held approximately 13,931 BTC valued at roughly $877 million, while BitFuFu sold 357 BTC, reducing its reserves by more than 21 percent. These production declines are attributed to increasing network mining difficulty, which shrinks each miner’s share regardless of total hashrate deployed.
