Anthropic has announced the integration of Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Calendar into Claude, its AI assistant, across all paid plans. Users can now send emails, manage files, and organize their calendars directly from Claude’s conversational interface. Team and Enterprise accounts require administrator activation before individual users can access these features. This update marks a major expansion from the initial April 2025 integration, which was limited to read-only access. Anthropic is targeting organizations using Google Workspace in an increasingly competitive landscape against Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini.
