Meanwhile, Circle announced the acquisition of Singapore-based payments platform Tazapay for approximately $400 million in an all-stock deal. The transaction, expected to close in 2027 pending regulatory approvals, would allow Circle to extend its USDC network to over 100 markets through Tazapay’s local presence.
