Circle and Tereina announced on October 7, 2026 a partnership to integrate USDC and EURC stablecoins into SAP Pay, an enterprise payment solution built directly into SAP Cloud ERP. This alliance enables businesses to settle transactions in stablecoins within the same systems they already use for traditional payments via ACH, wires and checks. SAP Pay was developed over 2.5 years and launched the day before the partnership announcement, on October 6, 2026, with a potential reduction in payment costs of up to 25%. The Arc blockchain, preferred for eligible transactions, launched on September 16, 2026, approximately three weeks before its adoption in an enterprise environment.
