Chinese humanoid robotics company Unix AI, founded in 2024, is expanding globally with deployments in Singapore and India in hospitality and retail services. The company plans a future IPO, with timing dependent on market conditions, regulations, and real-world robot adoption. Over 50% of the company’s orders come from renewals and repurchases by existing clients. The impact of U.S. chip export restrictions is expected to be limited, as edge computing power used for robots is not currently restricted.
