Unitree Robotics shares rose 542% in early trading Wednesday as the Chinese humanoid robot maker made its stock market debut on Shanghai’s STAR Market. The Hangzhou-based company raised about 6.1 billion yuan ($905 million) in its IPO, with shares reaching 968.1 yuan after hitting as high as 1,100 yuan. The listing drew support from AI company DeepSeek, which invested about 140.8 million yuan, as well as tech giant Tencent. Unitree also unveiled Monday a new humanoid robot called « Superman, » capable of jumping two meters from a standing position and running at speeds up to 12.66 meters per second.
