Cerebras stock plunges 14% after second earnings report following IPO

Cerebras Systems raised its full-year revenue guidance after publishing its second earnings report since its IPO in May. The stock tumbled about 14% in extended trading. In the second quarter, the company posted revenue of $210 million and a loss per share of $2.89. Net loss reached $450.5 million, largely due to stock-based compensation costs of $386.6 million. Cerebras now expects full-year core revenue between $880 and $890 million, up from a prior range of $855 million to $865 million.
