The Cardano Foundation and Brazilian firm Blockforce have launched a supply chain verification system that has already anchored more than 500,000 records from Brazilian exporters onto the Cardano blockchain. The platform uses a dual-ledger architecture combining Hyperledger Fabric for commercially sensitive data and Cardano’s public blockchain as the verification layer. The first major deployment is with Azzas 2154, Latin America’s largest fashion conglomerate, tracing leather supply chains across more than 6,200 suppliers. The uVerify batching protocol has achieved a 92% reduction in per-record anchoring costs. The contracted volume stipulates 6.5 million records by 2030, with planned expansion into automotive and pharmaceutical supply chains.
