Canva, the Australian design startup, says its users have created 4.5 billion presentations and 1.4 billion documents on its platform. The company launched its Visual Suite productivity tools in 2022 and overhauled them in April 2025 with spreadsheets and coding tools, with Docs becoming the third most popular design type. In Southeast Asia, more than half of Canva presentations start on a phone, rising to three in five in the Philippines and nearly two in three in Indonesia. AI integration has driven up costs, forcing the company to cut its revenue growth forecast to 20%. Canva, last valued at $42 billion following an employee share sale in August 2025, is targeting a 2027 IPO.
