Franklin Templeton and Bybit have announced a partnership allowing institutional investors to use tokenized shares of money market funds as trading collateral. Clients can access credit lines in USDT or USDC without selling their shares or transferring them to the platform. This arrangement enables institutions to continue earning yield on their fund holdings while financing their crypto trading operations. Franklin Templeton’s Benji platform managed approximately $669 million according to RWA.xyz data, while the tokenized money market fund market was valued at over $9 billion by the Bank for International Settlements as of September 2025. BlackRock’s BUIDL fund leads this segment with $2.2 billion in assets under management.
