BEP-682 strengthens bridge verification by eliminating duplicate validators, while BEP-695 improves validator governance and rotation. BEP-675 allows validators to reduce their processing time from 125 milliseconds to 15 milliseconds, raising TPS from 1,237 to 2,324 on the QANet test network. Node operators must have installed client v1.7 and removed [Eth] EnableBAL from config.toml before activation. Migration is not necessary for most developers and users.
