Bridgewater Associates’ latest 13F reveals heavy bets on S&P 500 ETFs and AI chip stocks

Bridgewater Associates, the world’s largest macro hedge fund managing between $150B and $170B in assets, disclosed a US equity portfolio of approximately $22.4B in its Q1 2026 13F filing. The two largest holdings are index ETFs SPY at 12.67% and IVV at 7.81%, together representing over 20% of the portfolio. The fund increased exposure to semiconductors (Nvidia, Broadcom, Micron) and initiated a new position in Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, while exiting positions in Salesforce and Workday. This equity portfolio represents approximately 13% to 15% of the firm’s total assets under management, with the remainder deployed in products not captured by the filing.
