Nvidia disclosed a stake in SpaceX worth approximately $21 billion at the end of the second quarter, representing 122.8 million Class A shares. However, the value of this stake has declined to about $17.2 billion as SpaceX’s stock price fell from $170.86 at the end of June to $140. Nvidia’s initial investment was $5 billion made less than a year ago, primarily through a $10 billion placement in xAI as part of a $20 billion funding round in January. Elon Musk remains by far the largest shareholder in SpaceX with a stake worth approximately $850 billion.
