Braveheart Bio, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company founded in November 2025, has filed for an initial public offering on the Nasdaq seeking to raise $319 million. The company, with proposed ticker symbol « BRVE », is backed by Andreessen Horowitz’s Bio + Health division as well as life sciences investors including Forbion, OrbiMed, and Enavate Sciences. Its lead drug candidate, BHB-1893, is an oral cardiac myosin inhibitor designed to treat hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a condition characterized by abnormal thickening of the heart muscle. The drug, in-licensed from China’s Hengrui Pharma, showed positive Phase 2 results and is expected to enter a global Phase 3 development program in the coming months.
