Brave is preparing to launch the Brave Rewards Card, a virtual and physical payment card that lets users earn BAT on everyday purchases, including outside the Brave browser. The project was announced on July 9, 2026 as part of the BAT Roadmap 4.0, while the waitlist surpassed 230,000 sign-ups on October 20, 2026. The card will operate through the BravePay protocol and GENIUS-compliant stablecoins, but the issuer, reward rates, supported countries and launch date remain undisclosed. This expansion of Brave’s rewards model, which has more than 128 million monthly active users, aims to turn BAT into a means of payment and earning beyond advertising in the browser.
