The company filed an SEC Form 8-K and its shares dropped 4% to 5.8% in premarket trading. Evercore ISI analysts project a 600 to 700 basis point hit to third-quarter revenues, representing hundreds of millions of dollars in lost or delayed sales against an annual revenue base of approximately $20 billion. In Ireland, where the company employs more than 7,000 people, staff have been told to work from home. No attacker has been publicly identified and no data theft or ransom demands have been confirmed as of yet.
