The club’s managing director for sport, Lars Ricken, confirmed on August 14 that Dortmund would not be submitting any further offers for the 19-year-old winger, who is contracted until June 2030. The young player, who came through Borussia Mönchengladbach’s youth system before breaking through at Köln, has caps with Germany’s Under-21 national team.
