BNB Chain has launched an online hackathon worth $20,000 called BNB Hack: Tokenized Stocks Edition, open to submissions from September 16 through October 11. The event aims to accelerate the development of blockchain tools for tokenized stocks, including trading interfaces, portfolio management dashboards, and DeFi integrations. Cumulative tokenized stock trading volume on BNB Chain surpassed $5.2 billion by mid-September 2026, including $1 billion during Labor Day weekend alone. The chain commands nearly 30% of the total global market cap for tokenized stocks and ETFs, rivaled only by Ondo.
