BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs posted a combined $3.5 billion net capital-share decrease in Q2, reversing a $13.9 billion increase a year earlier. The iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) alone accounted for a $2.9 billion net decrease, with $4.3 billion in contributions against $7.2 billion in distributions. The iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) recorded a net decrease of $583.4 million over the same period. August inflows offer a limited counterweight: roughly $562.3 million over three trading sessions, representing 15.9% of the total Q2 loss.
