BitMart exchange customers report that withdrawal requests remain pending weeks after the platform announced an « orderly wind-down » on July 26. One customer claims to have $10.1 million stuck on the platform, while another received only $5 out of a roughly $24,000 withdrawal request. Founder Sheldon Xia broke two weeks of silence on Saturday to deny any exit scam, saying the team is tallying and consolidating assets, without providing figures, a timeline, or proof of reserves. According to Arkham Intelligence, assets held in wallets attributed to BitMart fell from approximately $102 million in early July to $59.3 million on Sunday, with a heavy concentration in obscure tokens rather than major cryptocurrencies.
