Bitget Wallet has launched Virtual Account, a service that allows users to open a free personal account in dollars or euros through a self-custodial wallet, without local residency or a branch visit. Received funds are automatically converted into USDT or USDC and can be used for card payments, cross-border transfers, yield earning, and crypto or real-world asset investments. The service, provided by Noah, supports incoming transfers through ACH, Fedwire, SEPA and SWIFT, while outbound transfers are planned for the coming months. Bitget Wallet, which serves more than 100 million users, says a $500 ACH transfer costs approximately $2 in fees, compared with a global average of around 6%, or nearly $30.
