In its monthly operating update published on October 19, Bitdeer reported mining 1,355 BTC in September, compared with 452 BTC a year earlier, representing roughly a threefold increase. The company reported a self-mining hash rate of 82.3 EH/s and co-mining capacity of 28.7 EH/s, two categories that should not be added together to estimate profits. Bitcoin production alone does not establish profitability because it depends on network conditions, power availability, costs and equipment efficiency. Alongside mining, Bitdeer is expanding AI cloud and infrastructure services, including capacity agreements in Malaysia with planned deliveries extending into 2027 and 2028. These future projects, which require additional investment, have not reached the same operational stage as the mining activities realized in September.
