Bitdeer secured a 16-year AI lease worth $4.7 billion with Volta for 121 megawatts at its Norway data center. The end customer, identified as Anthropic, will generate approximately $290 million in annual revenue for Bitdeer, with payments increasing 3% each year. The company must raise about $500 million to fund construction of the first phase, with delivery targeted by December 31, 2026. Volta’s payment obligations will be backed by approximately $1.3 billion in letters of credit arranged by JPMorgan affiliates.
