Hyperscale Data sold approximately 686 Bitcoin for $43.4 million in August 2026 and used part of the proceeds to fully repay its Bitcoin-backed loans on Morpho, a decentralized lending protocol. This operation released the pledged collateral and eliminated direct DeFi default risk exposure. As of June 30, the company held only $36.8 million in cash against $201.7 million in current liabilities, and its liquidity is not expected to cover operating requirements, obligations, and planned capital expenditures for the next 12 months. For the first half of 2026, Hyperscale recorded a consolidated net loss of $49.1 million and used $9.9 million of cash in operating activities. The approximately 20-megawatt deployment at its Michigan AI data center will require more than $100 million in investment, with financing still not secured.
