Bitcoin rose from below $79,500 to $81,700 over the past 24 hours before stopping. According to Ali Martinez, whales realized more than $150 million in profits within a few days and reduced their holdings by more than 8,160 BTC, equivalent to $664 million, ahead of the Federal Reserve’s decision. The Coinbase Premium Index remains negative at -0.17, indicating that US investors are staying on the sidelines or selling, reinforcing the bearish outlook. Martinez expects a decline toward $77,000, or even $67,000, if the $81,000 support breaks, while a move above $84,500 would invalidate the bearish scenario and open the way to $92,000 and $104,000. Experts do not expect a rate change at the FOMC meeting, but fear another hike in December despite inflation remaining above the Fed’s 2% target.
