Bitcoin ETFs Had Their Worst Day Since June Following Failed Clarity Act Vote

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $450.4 million in outflows Tuesday, their largest single-day outflow since June 24. The Senate voted 49 to 50 against advancing the Clarity Act, effectively ending its chances for 2026. Ethereum ETFs lost another $142.3 million the same day, while XRP funds stayed flat. Combined, the three crypto ETF funds lost approximately $593 million in a single session, the sharpest one-day pullback for crypto ETFs since June. Without regulatory clarity, pension funds and banks are likely to keep sitting on the sidelines when it comes to treating Bitcoin as a normal financial product.
